About our Independent Living Skills (ILS)Program Anyone 16 or older who is in a foster home, group home, or relative's home, and is receiving AFDC-Foster Care funds, is eligible to join the ILS program.

The ILS Curriculum: ILS presents weekly classes and monthly workshops covering a variety of topics, including money management, employment and career options, housing, education, and personal growth. -
Community Forums and Events: These special offerings are designed to teach foster youth the skills they will need to be self-sufficient as adults. -
Computer Lab: Our lab offers skill building and research opportunities -
Drop-in Center: A safe place to go for recreation and socialization -
Case Management: This service provides individuals support as they work to find a job, apply for college and financial aid, rent an apartment, pay bills, and meet other personal goals. |

 Our ILS program helps youth develop positive social skills as well as skills for employment, higher-education and more!
