San Diego Youth Services (SDYS) is a nationally recognized, comprehensive non-profit organization that has helped stabilize the lives of more than a half-million young people and their families since 1970. Every day we work to fight the tragedies of homeless youth and youth in crisis. We administer our programs from fourteen locations throughout San Diego County. Our approach is based on practices that have proven to be effective -- focusing on long-term solutions. Many of our services are replicated in communities across the nation.

Congratulations to Dr. Constance Carroll on her induction into the San Diego County Women’s Hall of Fame! San Diego Youth Services Board of Directors member, Dr. Constance Carroll was a 2013 inductee at the 12th Annual San Diego County Women's Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony held March 16th. Dr. Constance Carroll is a trailblazer as the first woman to become Chancellor of the San Diego Community College District. She led the successful statewide effort to provide equitable funding for community colleges and is an activist in improving educational opportunities for women, minorities, and disadvantaged students.
